Optimaxer
By downloading or running Optimaxer, or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
The PowerShell and Linux editions use the MIT License. The Orion-derived Rust desktop app uses GPL-3.0. Use, modification and redistribution follow the license for the relevant edition. Product names, logos and app icons belong to their owners and appear only to identify their software.
Optimaxer changes system settings, services, scheduled tasks, startup entries, the hosts file, installed packages and files, and needs administrator (Windows) or root (Linux) rights to do it. You choose what is applied. Most changes record the original value so they can be undone. Some cannot be: deleted temp and cache files, cleared event logs and the emptied Recycle Bin. Removed apps and packages can be reinstalled but their local data may be gone.
--dry-run first. The software and this website are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, any performance gain, compatibility or uninterrupted operation. Results differ between systems.
To the extent the law allows, the author is not liable for data loss, system instability, downtime, lost profit or any other damage from using the software or website, even if told it was possible. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Optimaxer can install software from WinGet, the AUR, Flathub and other sources. That software comes from others, under their terms, and the author does not control or guarantee it. Third-party services the software contacts are listed in the privacy policy.
Do not use Optimaxer to damage or disrupt systems, or to change systems you do not own or have permission to change.
These terms may change. The current version is this page; history is in the repository. Questions: issue tracker.
